South Shore Lumberjacks Jr. A Hockey Team The South Shore Lumberjacks are a Jr. A Hockey team based in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.

They play home games at Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centera infront of a large fanbase. The Lumberjacks are one of 6 teams in the Eastlink South division of the Maritime Junior Hockey League.

For Benny Lawrence. Benny has been a part of Jr hockey in Nova Scotia his whole life anyone who has ever had the pleasure of meeting Benny was instantly a friend. Benny would give anyone the shirt of his back. This is our chance to help him out!!

Saturday July 26th 8:30 Shorgun start

$480 per team of 4
18 holes with a cart

Anyone who has played for the lumberjacks or has had anything to do with the team knows Benny and Benny needs our help. He is having some health issues which are going to require a few surgeries and some travel to Toronto and possibly Vancouver. I am trying to out together a fundraiser for Saturday July 26th at Aspotogan Ridge Golf Course. 4 Person Scramble golf Tournament. Very short notice but am hoping that we can come together for Bennie in his time of need as he has done for us all at some point in our past. I am looking for golf teams or donations or prizes anything at all will help. Please reach out if you’re able to help at all. Cost for a team of 4 is $480 which includes 18 holes of golf and your cart. Thank you and please reach out quickly as possible so we can fill this tournament up and get some much needed money to Benny Lawrence.

This morning, the Board of Governors of the Maritime Hockey League unanimously approved a proposal to relocate the South Shore Lumberjacks to Bouctouche, New Brunswick, effective for the 2023-24 season.

The organization would like to thank all fans, players, staff, volunteers, and sponsors of Lunenburg County for your support since its inception in 2004-05.
