We're a group that ranges from less than a year of playing to a 10-year veteran! We have 5 or 6 Misfits, and a few hang around. We're a group that focuses more on the tactics and team work than we do with have the latest, or 1:1 kits. Likewise, we all have to st

art playing and learning what works best for us as a player, and a team. Myself and a handful of others have also been working on our "own" woodsball field that we've deemed Pallet Town. We're looking forward to start putting on games and renting and hosting other venues here later on in the 2022, year and into the future, We're looking forward to working with the other teams, and fields of Nova Scotia to help with the growth of our wonderful sport. We are not like your traditional style team where you ask to join, and then the members vote to accept you or not. We do things whereas we play walk on and events, we take note to the players that are similar to our not just in play styles, but personality and that they need to play well with us to be an "Official Misfit". We've got about 10 or 15 people that we play with in regular secession that are up in coming Misfits! We're the ones that tend to be joking around, yelling at each other. To say that we do things a little bit different from your normal team would be an understatement!

So! First off Myself and the rest of the Misfits,
Would love to thank each of the 45 of you that decided to make it out! That many of you blew my mind for the turnout. I was only expecting around 20 or so!

And thank you Jimmy @ Mersey Road Paintball, for allowing us out on your property,

What did everyone think of the Escalation Game Mode?

Ive got some personal ideas to help out,
-moving spawns to the road by the parking lot, and and the end of the Y at the top of the field,
- moving the objectives to be slight more spread out, I'm thinking, 1) Down into the Quarry, 2) roughly same spot in the center like we had the white flag, 3) on the far side around that big pine we used as the right side spawn yesterday,

Any feedback on the day would greatly be appreciated!

ps; we've been discussing about attempting a day to cut some more trails, and clean up and fix some of the bunkers and that around mersey,
Were willing to post the day that we can figure out once we look at our scheduling. If youd like to help let us know. If you come out and help us for a good couple of hours! It'll go and cover the Field fee for the next game that we host! We appreciate everything everyone does!

Operation Fast Hands, Bad Plans – What a Day!

We just wanted to take a moment to give a massive thank you to everyone who came out to Operation Fast Hands, Bad Plans this past weekend at Mersey Road Paintball. We had 42 players hit the field, and honestly, you all brought the kind of energy that makes events like this so much fun to host.

Between the laughs, the chaos, and the sheer number of bad plans executed at high speed, we couldn’t have asked for a better crew. Some of your callsigns still have us chuckling.

We’ve already started working on improving things thanks to your feedback (and a few hard-earned lessons):

* Brand-new chronograph to keep everyone safe (and save a few fingers—sorry to those who learned the hard way!).

* Color-coded arm bands to help with team PID and reduce friendly fire.

* FPS zip ties to make chrono checks quicker and smoother.

* And a shiny new cash box, though someone definitely needs to remember to bring change next time… looking at you, me.

This event was just the beginning of what we hope will be an awesome season. We’ve got a few exciting things in the works on the back end—nothing official yet, but we’re hopeful. Let’s just say the future’s looking interesting.

One last thing—we want your input!
Would you be interested in snacks and drinks being sold at future games? (Think: chips, chocolate bars, water, Gatorade, BBQ, etc.) Something to keep you fueled between games. Let us know in the comments!
