A pretty special group of ball players! ✨

Huge thank you to the U9 Ennismore A’s for coming out to Kirk’s Sandlot this past Saturday and spending the day with us!

Earlier this year, we were honoured to help their team get their season off the ground by providing funding for some of the equipment and start-up costs they needed to get playing. Knowing that a couple of their parents once shared the diamond with Kirk — and now their kids are proudly wearing his name on their sleeve makes this one especially meaningful to us.

We hope you had an amazing season, A’s! We’re so happy we could play even a small part in getting your team started, and we know Kirk would have been pretty honoured to see his love of baseball continue on through the next generation.⚾️⚾️

WE HAVE SOME NEW CHAMPIONS OF KIRK’S SANDLOT!

Congratulations to Riley Campbell and his team, our official 2026 Champs! 🏆

They battled it out against 11 other teams and came out on top — earning themselves some serious bragging rights until next year!

A huge thank you to every team and their dedicated team captains who came out, competed, and helped make this year’s tournament so special again. Your support is what makes Kirk’s Sandlot possible, and we’re so grateful to have you all be a part of it. ❤️

KIRK’S SANDLOT TOURNAMENT IS THIS SATURDAY ⚾️⚾️

The countdown is officially on! We can’t wait to see everyone together for Year 4 of the Kirk Chambo Memorial 3-Pitch Tournament and another amazing day remembering Kirk.

A few friendly reminders before you head to the ball diamond:

• CASH ONLY — for food, drinks, raffle tickets, etc.
• Bring your own chairs, coolers, blankets — and Bluetooth speaker for personal tunes!
• Bring a reusable water bottle — stay hydrated throughout the day
• Please be respectful and clean up after yourselves — help us keep the ball diamond and community centre looking great!

And of course, come hungry!

We’ll have:
• Peameal on a bun in the morning
• BBQ in the afternoon

Plus:
• A raffle table filled with lots of great prizes
• Kids’ station and playground access
• Merch available for purchase

This Saturday, August 22
Ennismore Community Centre
Games start at 8:00 AM, with final game ending around 5:00 PM

If you’re donating a raffle prize for Kirk’s Sandlot Charity 3-Pitch Tournament on August 22nd, please message or text any member of Kirk’s team with the details of your prize.

We’ll be providing signage for every raffle prize, so we need the details ahead of time! And we ask that you let us know if you will be bringing day of or dropping off ahead of time.

This is a great opportunity to get your business, service, or company some exposure while supporting a great cause. Whether you’re donating a product, gift card, experience, service, or something totally unique — we’d love to have it on our table ❤️❤️
