Coach Deon x Bella Vista

Please join us in congratulating one of our very first (team) Assistant Coaches in securing an Assistant Coach position with the very prestigious Bella Vista program out in PHX!

Coach Deon and Coach Brandon were first year assistant coaches during Coach JR’s first year with ACS as a head coach helping the program go from last place to city finalists in 2024. To go from ACS Brantford & hooping in the CBL to coaching at Bella Vista less than two years after is SURREAL! We are so proud of Coach Deon on the next step of his journey and all the athletes he gets to make an impact with.

🌟 From Brantford to Stanford!

Starting the week off celebrating Brantford’s very own Frances Vollett (Frances Vollett) who proudly represents both her city and Indigenous roots on her commitment to both a powerhouse academic & athletic program.

Frances is ONE OF ONE and continues to write her story. Making HERstory as one of the only student-athletes from Brantford to receive an athletic scholarship to a HIGH MAJOR Division 1. She will be competing at the coveted ACC Division for Coach Kate Paye and the Trees.

It’s been an honour supporting from the sidelines! Congratulations again to you and the family, Frances!

Fall & Winter || Offered Services

With the change in seasons comes a change in how we operate our services!

More weight room sessions will be available as the weather gets colder with outdoor skill work still being offered when the weather allows it. Once the colder months become consistent, we will have indoor options available before & during school hours (6:00am - 2:00pm) and strength & conditioning options after school hours.

We hope to see you all back at camp over the winter break as well! In the meantime, please swipe through and let us know which role you would like us to play in your development!

* March Break Camp information will be released on a later date!

🦁 || Y.3 loading…

🏀 League rules state we can’t get started until the first week of November 1st but personal coaching preparations started when last season ended. So with school kicking off- we can now start counting down the days to tryouts!

🚨 To those Gr. 9s & 10s hoping to come and tryout for the Lions this coming season, it would be in your best interest to make sure you stay locked in or start locking in on your academics ASAP. Each year we’ve been with the program, we have had guys not able to complete the tryout process or get removed from the team because grades and / or classroom behaviours came back negative or failing. Don’t be that person. Your grades are the first and EASIEST indicator that shows coaches what your commitment to yourself, the school, and the team will be like.

🫡 See you soon, Lions.
