Today Coach Rob gave a passionate lesson on the value of Preparation. How it starts. When it starts. What it looks like. And what it leads to.

Coach Rob drew on his experiences of chasing his dream of being an Olympian Curler and how close he came to representing Canada 🇹🇩 in the Olympics.

OUr kids are so fortunate to be able to hear these kinds of stories from someone who chased the highest level his craft had to offer.

Revenge!!!!

This incredible team, the Prairie Predators handed us our first loss as a team way back in the NAHC Early Bird. Tonight we exacted our revenge. 18 wolves chased these boys into every corner of the ice.

I’m the end. We showed them who the real Predators are; The 2010 WCHA Synergy Wolves!

First place in our pool and off to the Semis tomorrow!

Here we go again! You’re 2010 WCHA Synergy Wolves have descended upon Regina for the last tournament of the spring season. The action kicks off this afternoon at 3 pm against the 2010 Parkland Jr Rangers.

Last night the 2010 WCHA Synergy Wolves lost in the Gold medal game of the Saskatoon Gordie Howe Memorial Classic. Capturing a Silver Medal.

A few highlights from what this incredible group of kids has accomplished in 3 tournaments.

- our 2nd Gold Medal game in 8 days, 11th game in 10 days, over 1100 Km’s of travel in a week, 7 hotel nights in 10
- a 17-3-2 record as a team

- A đŸ„‡, a đŸ„ˆ, a đŸ„‰ in 3 tournaments

- bonding beyond measure, we’ve taught the boys that the legs feed the wolf, everyone has an important role to play,

- weve come from behind, we’ve battled to hold leads, we won do or die games, we experienced injuries, fatigue but we never stopped battling and we never stopped believing.

As far as a Spring season goes - our kids have gotten the full nine yards.

One tournament left. Look out Regina. We’re coming.

Today. The 2010 WCHA Synergy Wolves defeated an incredible team from Alberta. To break a three way log jam in our pool and secure first overall after round robin. Advancing us to the Gold Semi Finals. It took everything we had. And was possibly the most incredible team effort we’ve had all year (and that’s saying a lot). WCHA Hockey

As a coach. You’re so proud of the kids that call you coach. As a human being and a father. You’re touched beyond words when the players give you the “Unsung” hero player of the game award. I’ll post this because it’s humbling. But also funny.
