🥅 WANT A BETTER GLOVE? START HERE. 🧤

Here’s something we see all the time:

A goalie thinks they need a better glove…

But sometimes, the problem isn’t the glove.

It’s what they’re doing with it. 👀

Two simple habits can make a HUGE difference:

1️⃣ TRACK THE PUCK ALL THE WAY IN

Don’t lose the puck as it approaches your glove.

Elite goalies keep their eyes locked on the puck from release → all the way into the glove.

👉 Eyes → Puck → Glove

If you don’t see it clean…

You can’t catch it clean.

2️⃣ CATCH THE PUCK IN FRONT OF YOUR BODY

Where is your glove when the puck arrives?

If it’s beside your body, you’re already making the save harder than it needs to be.

Present the glove out in front, where you can see the puck and control the catch.

👉 Catch it where you can see it.

That means:

✔️ Better vision
✔️ Faster reactions
✔️ More controlled catches
✔️ Less guessing

FRONT = CONTROL.
SIDE = SCRAMBLE.
