Well well well… SUMMER 2026 • SEASON 11 • THAT’S A WRAP AT TURTLE SCHOOL 🐢🤍
11 summers of Beyond Buoyancy Aquatics.
What started as a little dream of mine at 21 years old in my parents’ backyard continues to grow into something I don’t think I ever could have imagined.
Every year I sit down to write this post and never quite know how to put an entire summer into words. The long days, the wet hair, the laughs, the tears, the breakthroughs, the hugs, the exhausted nights, the “WATCH ME!” moments and hundreds of little swimmers who trusted us to be part of their journey.
Summer 2026, you were SO good to us. 🥹
Last summer, Brinnleigh was our tiny baby on our hip. This summer, she was IN IT. Swimming, learning, cheering on other swimmers, giving high fives, making friends and basically believing Turtle School belongs to her. 😂🐢
Getting to raise our daughter around something John and I have poured so much of our lives into has been one of the greatest gifts.
John to put it simply there’s no BBA without you. Teaching beside me, keeping the pool running, fixing approximately 927 things 😂, helping lead our team and being the best dad to our little girl in the middle of all the chaos. Thank you for continuing to chase this crazy dream with me. 🤍
To our parents and guardians who show up RAIN & Shine - THANK YOU.
Thank you for trusting us with your babies. For sitting through the tears, trusting the process, celebrating the breakthroughs and allowing us to be part of some really incredible moments.
Eleven summers later, the mission is still the same.
Teach them to love the water.
Teach them to respect the water.
Build their confidence.
And above everything else, give them skills that could save their life.
To every family who continues to choose, support and believe in BBA
We love you more than you know.
SUMMER 2026, THAT’S A WRAP. 🐢🤍
Tara, John & Brinnleigh
OUR TEAM. 👏🏻🐢🤍
What an INCREDIBLE group of humans we were blessed with this summer.
You showed up every single day with patience, energy, encouragement and so much love for your swimmers.
You celebrated the tiny wins. You worked through the tears, fears and hard days. You knew when to pus
