Where you burn your calories in a day ⤵️

Send this to a friend that’s always trying to out exercise their crap diet 🙏🏼

Only a small amount of the calories you burn in a day come from exercise.

Most of the calories you burn come from factors outside of the gym like your daily movement, and just you existing.

So make sure to prioritize factors outside of the gym just as much, if not more than your workouts!

Hope this helps,

Coach Noah 💪🏼

These are just a few of many fitness myths that I used to believe when I first started working out.

If you’re just starting out on your fitness journey you need to understand that its okay that you don’t know everything.

Even us fitness coaches are still learning new things regularly.

It would be naive to think that we “know it all”.

So don’t use your lack of knowledge as an excuse not to start, because the only way you’re going to figure it out is by taking those first steps to get started!

Hope this helps,

How to lose weight while eating junk food ⤵️

Did you know you can lose weight without avoiding your favourite junk foods for the rest of your life?

The only thing that matters for weight loss is a calorie deficit and the Tw***ie Diet Experiment proves that.

Now should you only eat junk food? Absolutely not.

But the odd indulgence isn’t going to derail you as much as you think it will as long as you get back on track the next day!

Hope this helps,

Sleep is probably the most important part of your overall health and is crucial for your weight loss goals… Stop skipping it and start making it a priority!

🚫 The Unspoken Truth of the Fitness Industry…

Picture your life with a 6-pack and imagine how amazing it would be, right?

But here's what they don't tell you: the sacrifices required to get there are no joke.

These influencers give up everything that brings joy to the average person.

Want a glass of wine with dinner? Think again.

Craving potato chips? Think again.

Love those Timbits? (Shoutout to my fellow Canadians!) Think again.

Want an extra episode of Greys instead of 8 hours of sleep? Think again.

Now, I'm being a bit extreme here, but trust me, a perfectly optimized life sucks.

Our goal is to find balance along this spectrum, creating the healthiest version of YOU!

Hope this helps,

Coach Noah 💪🏼

It's a common struggle to balance work and fitness goals, but it's important to make time for yourself and prioritize your health.

Taking care of yourself not only benefits you, but it also helps you perform better at work and in other areas of your life.

Firstly, schedule your workout into your calendar.

By scheduling it in, you're more likely to stick to it and make it a priority.

Secondly, try going for a 10-minute walk after each meal.

This is a great way to fit movement into your day without a big time commitment.

It also helps with digestion and can help you feel more energized throughout the day.

Lastly, learn to say no.

It's important to set boundaries and prioritize your health.

You don't have to say no to everything, but you should prioritize what's most important to you, and that includes your health.

Remember, your health should always be a priority!

Hope this helps,

We all have those moments after a meal when we mindlessly scroll through our phones.

But why not make those minutes count?

Swap your phone addiction for a quick 5-minute walk around the block.

It's not about complicated workouts or trendy routines you got off social media.

It's about using daily movement to burn extra calories, to help create a calorie deficit.

Embrace the power of small, consistent steps to achieve your weight loss goals!

Hope this helps,

Are you frustrated with the number on the scale not budging, even though you're putting in the effort at the gym and eating right?

Don't let it get you down!

Remember, weight is just a number and it doesn't always reflect the progress you're making.

If you're noticing that your clothes are fitting better, you're looking better in the mirror, and you're feeling stronger in the gym, that's great news!

You're likely building muscle and losing fat, which is a fantastic achievement.

So keep up the good work, stay committed to your goals, and don't get discouraged by the scale.

Remember, progress is progress, no matter how small it may seem.

Keep pushing yourself and you'll achieve the results you want in the end!

Hope this helps,

This is why you don’t need to do keto to lose weight…

Now if by going on “KETO” you just reduce your carb intake then it can be sustainable.

But if you cut carbs out altogether, then you likely won’t be able to sustain it like Pier leaving my video.

Because a lot of the initial weight loss when you cut out carbs isn’t actually from losing fat, its from losing water weight.

You see, for every gram of carbs that get stored in your body as glycogen, your body holds onto 3-4 grams of water along with it.

So by cutting out carbs, you’re losing water weight before you start to lose body fat.

But if you keep your protein intake high (about .8g per pound of body weight), and then reduce your carb and fat intake to a point of a small calorie deficit.

You’re setting yourself up for long term success!

Hope this helps,

Why its okay to mess up on your weight loss journey ⤵️

📌 Make sure to like this post or share it with a friend 🙏🏼

Your mindset is one of the most important parts to any fitness plan & its often overlooked…

Many of us will let one small slip up like having desert at dinner lead them to making worse & worse decisions in the coming days.

Which eventually derails us completely, putting us back at square one.

If you want to stop this from happening, when you mess up (& you will), just tell yourself that you’re going to get back on track tomorrow.

Because the only way that you can truly mess up is by quitting altogether!

Hope this helps,

How to workout when you don’t want to ⤵️

Struggling to find motivation to workout?

We've all been there.

This trick will help you crush your workout, even when you're feeling unmotivated. It's called the 5-second rule, and it can be applied to anything you don't want to do.

Here's how it works: let's say you're on the couch, binging on your favourite show.

You're going to start counting backwards from 5, and when you get to 1, you're going to get up and do your workout.

It may sound too simple, but trust me, it works!

You can apply this rule to anything, even the things you dread doing, like doing the dishes.

If you have an instinct to go do something, you have 5 seconds to take action, or your brain will kill it.

So, the next time you're feeling unmotivated, remember the 5-second rule, and crush your workout like a champ!

Hope this helps,

Coach Noah 💪🏼
