✨ New Families

Interested in becoming a lifeguard or strengthening your swimming proficiency and lifesaving skills?

We teach the Bronze Star Course here at Gold Star Swim School. 💙💛

Prerequisite: None (Swim Patrol experience is recommended)

Course Description: Refine your stroke mechanics, acquire self-rescue skills, and apply fitness principles through training workouts. Bronze Star also prepares you for success in the Bronze Medallion course and future lifesaving courses!

Important: A minimum of 4 swimmers must register for the course to run.

There’s no age limit on learning to swim. 🏊‍♀️ We offer adult lessons. Taking that first step and registering for lessons is often the hardest part.

The beauty of private lessons is that each lesson is customized to individual goals. Ensuring your comfort in the water is extremely important to us. We will do progressions when learning new skills and work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

The rainy end to our session didn’t hold back our swimmers from having a blast. ☔️ 😁

These two little fishies are only six months old. 💗💗 It’s never too early to begin building confidence in the water!

Dive into fun with the Lifesaving Society Parent & Tot program where learning meets play. 🐳

Lessons will consist of interactive games, and catchy songs. 🎶 Parents and tots will be encouraged to move at their own pace.

The summer is flying by!

Session 3 has just come to an end. Our team of instructors are beyond proud of all of our determined, hardworking swimmers this session. 🐳🏊‍♀️

Session 4 begins Monday. 🗓️ We’re looking forward to seeing some new smiling faces and can’t wait for all the fun that is in store. 😁

World drowning prevention day is coming up!
🛟 Thursday, July 25th 🛟

In support, here at Gold Star Swim School we are having a lifejacket colouring sheet contest. All swimmers enrolled in our current session are encouraged to participate.

How to participate:
⭐️ Have your swimmer colour the lifejacket handout and submit by July 25th. Don’t forget to include your swimmers name. *we will be handing out the colouring sheet at the end of tomorrow’s lesson*

⭐️ All swimmers who submit a colouring sheet will have their name entered into a draw. Two swimmers will be selected and will receive $50 off a session for this summer.

Lifejackets are for everyone
• For it to be effective, a must fit right and be worn properly. Be sure everyone is geared up this summer for safety.

• 80% of people who drowned while boating were either not wearing a or weren’t wearing it properly. Make sure everyone is wearing a lifejacket this summer.

• are like seatbelts. They help you if the unexpected happens, but only if they’re being worn properly.
