Things to consider for a real change:
1. Getting in shape looks different for different people. Body type, activity level, water intake, sleep and stress have an impact on your goals. It is an evolving process and requires on going changes throughout your journey.
2. Celebrate the small victories! Notice and appreciate the small changes. Not just in your physical appearance but also your mental and emotional changes.
3. Changes donβt happen overnight. There are no short cuts or quick fixes. Real change takes time- sometimes months before you notice a change.
4. Prioritize yourself. Excuses and reasons will always be a barrier if you let it.
5. Invest in a good personal trainer. Someone you can trust and look up to. Trainers are experts in fitness and can help you reach your goals faster and more effectively than on your own.
These are some of the things we tell our clients, and remind them when they feel like things are not happening as fast as they hoped for. Change takes time, consistency and hard work.
