Muskoka Rowing Club Rower of the Year - Mahua

Mahua has been rowing with Muskoka Rowing Club for five years, and this year has been an especially exciting one as she took the next step in her rowing journey and began competing. She made her racing debut at HogTown Heats, where she earned two medals. She also raced the U19 2x at Muskoka Fall Classic placing 9th with her partner. What an incredible accomplishment and a reflection of the hard work she has put into her rowing over the years.

But Mahua’s contribution to our club goes far beyond what happens on race day. She is always willing to step in, fill a seat, help out, and support her fellow rowers. She brings a kind, friendly and welcoming presence to the boathouse, and she is someone we can always count on.

We are incredibly proud of how far Mahua has come and of the rower she has become. Watching her grow in confidence and experience has been such a pleasure, and we know this is only the beginning. Congratulations, Mahua, on being named Muskoka Rowing Club’s Rower of the Year! We can’t wait to see where rowing takes you next and what the future holds for you.

CONGRATULATIONS MAHUA 🥳
