π₯π₯π₯π₯ FOUR GOLD MEDALS. ONE HISTORIC WEEKEND. π₯π₯π₯π₯
What a weekend it was for Eclipse Track & Field Club at the 2026 OFSAA Track & Field Championships in St. Catharines!
Against the very best high school athletes in Ontario, Eclipse athletes delivered a championship performance, bringing home an incredible four OFSAA gold medals.
β Lily Ryan β Double OFSAA Champion
Lily captured gold in the Novice Girls 400m in 56.07 and returned to win gold in the Novice Girls 800m in 2:15.88. In doing so, Lily became the first athlete from Cobourg to ever win an OFSAA gold medalβand then went on to win a second.
β Koji Miller β OFSAA Champion
Koji continued his remarkable season by winning gold in the Novice Boys Javelin with a throw of 52.82m, just shy of his personal best of 53.07m. After setting meet records at both LOSSA and OFSAA Central Regionals, Koji once again proved he is among Ontarioβs elite young throwers.
β Tyrese McHardy β OFSAA Champion
Competing in the Junior Boys Division, Tyrese delivered one of the most exciting moments of the championship. Racing in the 300m hurdles, he crossed the finish line in 40.47, capturing OFSAA gold by an astonishing one-thousandth of a second in a dramatic photo finish.
We are incredibly proud of all of our Eclipse athletes who competed at OFSAA. Simply reaching the provincial championships is an outstanding accomplishment, and our athletes represented themselves, their schools, and our club with pride and determination.
Congratulations to all competitors who earned the opportunity to compete at OFSAA. The journey to the top of Ontario high school athletics is never easy, and every athlete who stepped onto that stage should be proud.
