The competition is open to ALL healthy dogs, over 16 month of age and is a test of the dog’s overall ability. To insure fairness, there will be three classes your dog can compete in, which are
Small up to 16” shoulder height
Medium up to 22”
Tall 22” and over
Each event will offer four challenges. Three of these will be designed for beginners, the other one will be one
of our Semi-Pro Challenges. The rules of all challenges are the same for all classes. To be eligible to win the prize money and title, you are required to compete in a minimum of three challenges per event. The average of your dog’s best rankings will determine the final placement. Example: You choose to compete in all four challenges. You place 2nd in the first challenge, 1st in the second, 5th in the third and 4th in the last. The three best rankings are 2nd, 1st and 4th. In case of a tie, the competitor with fewer penalties and/or more podiums in the three challenges will win. We have 7 events this season. To determine who will be able to compete for the title “The UltimateK9 2013”, October 16th, your dog must compete in at least 5 events this season. If you attend 6, or all 7 events the 5 best placements will be used to calculate your dogs overall ranking. If you attend less then 5 events, you are still able to be part of our final event, but won't be able to compete for prize money or title. But there will be other prizes to win as well. So don't miss out! Challenges
