Dear Clarington community,
It’s with a mix of emotions that we announce the closure of Stoick Axe Throwing.
Born in the midst of the pandemic lockdowns in mid-2020, Stoick was our way of helping the community come together after being separated for so long. From the moment we opened, you welcomed us with open arms and we became a hit almost overnight!
We were new to the axe throwing world, but with the incredible support and guidance of seasoned pros, we built something special—a place where fun and friendly competition thrived.
As we say goodbye to this chapter, we want to express our deepest gratitude for the last four years. Your unwavering support helped a local, family-run business grow and become a part of this vibrant community.
Although we’ll miss bringing this unique activity to you, we’re excited about what’s to come. The area is undergoing a major transformation into a world-class space that will complement everything we stand for at the Clarington Entertainment Complex.
For those who still need to scratch that axe-throwing itch, we encourage you to support great family run businesses like the one run by Carlo from the Peterborough Axe Club . Carlo is a wonderful, kind mentor to us, providing keen advice when we needed it most.
This isn’t goodbye forever—just for now. We know we’ll bump into each other soon, especially when we reveal what’s next. Thank you again for everything.
