Camp Bow-Isle

Camp Bow-Isle Camp Bow-Isle is a camp for youth and families who are students of Christian Science.

Camp Bow-Isle was founded to offer an outdoor, recreational, cultural and spiritual program to enable individuals and families to recognize their spirituality and cherish each other through the practical application of Christian Science. Camp Bow-Isle is owned and operated by the BC Camping and Recreation Guild for Christian Scientists, and is accredited by the BC Camping Association.

Yesterday we welcomed 40 kindergarteners and first graders for a fun day of learning outside the classroom. Students designs and launched paper rockets, engineered marvel tracks, identified native trees and worked on collaboration.

Last weekend, many campers from the early years came together alongside Carole and Allan Fernie’s family to remember the lasting impact Carole had on so many at Camp Bow-Isle.

On Thursday, the Bow-Isle Outdoor Centre kicked off the season with an awesome group of grade 6 students from islandpacificschool. After team and trust-building activities, they challenged themselves at the ropes course and stayed overnight for a campfire and 3 Sticks!
