Jazzercise Dance Mixx combines modern moves (and music!) with strength training and is suitable for all fitness levels. Whether you are new to exercise or ready to up your A-game, this could just be the best hour of your day! Strength 45 is a 45minute, full-body strength training class is designed to challenge and tone the major muscle groups. Each routine is choreographed to music, so you’re motivated to keep moving.

Our Story

What is Jazzercise?

Burn up to 600 calories in one fun and powerfully effective 60-minute total body workout. Every Jazzercise group fitness class combines dance-based cardio with strength training and stretching to sculpt, tone and lengthen muscles for maximum fat burn. Choreographed to today's hottest music, Jazzercise is a fusion of jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga and kickboxing. Start dancing yourself fit and change the shape of your body today!

Jazzercise Bowen Island offers three classes a week. Every class includes a warm-up, a cardio segment, strength training and stretching. Dance Mixx classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:15 pm. Jazzercise LO classes are Wednesdays at 10:00 am and are a dance mixx class without the hop. Susanne Herrington has been teaching Jazzercise for 23 years, and will provide motivation, easy-to-follow cues and safety reminders. She continues her education through fitness training centre programs that keep her abreast of the latest developments in fitness and is CPR certified.
