Doing the happy dance 💃 that I don’t have to be on the road for 3 hours today/tonight, in another storm, to go teach at Foster Creek (miss the students though). However, still needed to go out in the storm because hubby says, “Since you are home, go try to give that baby calf a bottle and check the cows while you are out there.” 😂 Oh well, still got to stay home all day! Did some housework, baked some buns and starting working on Yoga with Weights again. It’s a course I did a long time ago but, like always, I wanted to learn more before I started incorporating it into my classes. However, I didn’t take the time to do so. Now it’s that time.

Since the beginning of 2013, I have been going once a week to both Christina Lake and Foster Creek to teach yoga classes at 4 oil camps, driving about 1000 kms a week (minus the Covid restrictions time). I have retired from these in-person classes at these camps and am just continuing with the zoom classes to them (that started during the Covid restrictions) plus, of course, the work I do in the Bonnyville area. I am so happy to continue with the zoom classes for this oil company so I can continue to teach and connect with some of the amazing people I have met during this time. But, I must say that I am happy to not do the long drives and late nights anymore. I had always said that on my last trip on hwy 881, I was going to stop in LLB to buy this sweatshirt. So, on my last trip this week I stopped. There were only huge sizes in stock, but I bought one anyway. 😂 It will be perfect as a big, cozy, comfy sweatshirt that I can wear at home on cold winter nights, grateful to be home and not driving in any more snow storms! (This year I had my fair share). I am grateful for the opportunity I had to share what I love with so many amazing people and am now grateful to be able to stay around home a bit more.
