In Cooperation with the Bonnyville Amateur Football Association and sponsored by United Woodmasters we're excited to announce our first ever spike ball tournament hosted at Walsh Field!
GENERAL INFORMATION
- The tournament will take place on July 3rd at 1pm-5:30pm
- All proceeds will be given directly towards a local charity that focuses on the treatment of cancer patients in the area, This is done through the Bonnyville Community Cancer Clinic, by doing this we not only hope to attract spike ball players for some fun but also to make a difference within the community.
REGISTRATION
- Registration will take place from the time you see this post till either all spots are filled or 1 week before event date(July 3rd)
- To register your team you must send 1. Your team name 2. Both participants names. 3 An E Transfer of $30 to > [email protected]
- Registration is first come first served,(There are only spots for 16 teams so act fast.)
- When your registration is confirmed you will find your team name and both participants here

FACILITY RULES
- no alcohol
- no smoking/vaping
- no food, gum, coffee, pop, etc on the field
- spectators must be in the stands.
- no chairs / spectators on the track
- no tents on the field
- any children (if applicable) must be supervised // any equipment around the field can’t be used as a playground
- Garbage in the garbage cans.
TOURNAMENT RULES
- Games will be 25 points with the win by two rule enforced
- Gentleman's serve will be in play, with 6 feet between the players feet and the net
- On serve you will have two attempts to make contact with the net, if both are missed you will concede a single point
- 3 hits before the ball must make contact with the net(Volleyball reference)
- Carries are subject to the players during the game(keep it truthful)
- Pockets are in play except on service(pockets on serve equal a re-serve)
- Any contact with the rim makes the ball dead at ANY TIME
- Team swag is encouraged(keep it within some guidelines or you will be asked to change)
- The tournament format will be a 16 team double elimination, if you are not familiar with this format you can familiarize yourself here

- A bracket with a schedule will be posted one week prior to the even date(July 3rd)
PRIZE
- The winning duo will take home a Pot sponsored by United Woodmasters to a sum of $700
