Happy 2nd Anniversary to the Bonavista Run Club!! 🎉 On June 1st, 2024 our little club that could was born! Come join us on Saturday morning where we’ll meet at the Harbour Quarters parking lot at 9am for our route. Runners and Walkers, and strollers & crowd friendly dogs are ALWAYS welcome! After this week’s route we will head to the Bicycle Picnic Cafe for some sunshine by the shore - and some fantastic refreshments as well! See you there!

We couldn’t be more proud of these 5 fabulous Bonavista runners who tackled the “Run From Away” 1/2 Marathon yesterday in Gander. Not only did they complete the challenging feat of running 21.1 km… they did it Newfoundland style, through rain & snow & wind that would take the skin off ya! Congratulations to our running Rockstars: Melissa, Joanne, Kerri, Jared & Anna. You are all amazing! 🥇🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️👏👏

***Change of Plans!!***

Mother Nature has inspired us to do something different this week! Instead of our usual Saturday get together, we will meet on Sunday, May 24th at the King’s Cove Lighthouse Trailhead at 9am for a hike. If you want to join & would like a ride, please comment here. Everyone is welcome! 🤗

For further clarity, there is no Saturday morning walk/run this week.

Saturday, May 16th - Run/Walk - We will meet at 9am at Riff’s and finish at the Quintal Cafe. Everyone is welcome to join! 😊

Saturday, May 9th - Run/Walk - We will meet at 9am at the Harbour Quarters parking lot and we will finish at the Lovely Grand Bakeshop. Fingers crossed for a sunny morning! ☀️

Saturday May 2 - Run/Walk - This week we will meet at Riff’s at 9am and head to Quintal Cafe at the end of our route! We’re looking forward to visiting our friends at Quintal after a long winter! We welcome any new runners OR walkers in the community to join us!
