After the big game, our 2025-26 Player Awards were presented courtesy of our sponsors St. Louis Bar & Grill & Whiskey Road Hat Co.

Kraken forward Dan Berno earned the Bill Whitbread Memorial Award for Playoff MVP, while The Matt Dowdle Memorial Award for exceptional performance, leadership, and dedication to the league was presented to Bob McHardy of the Kings, who also took home All-Star of the Game.

The Kraken took a 1-0 lead in the first and didn’t look back as they locked up the Jerry Callaghan Cup Championship with a 4-0 win over the SolarBears. The Bill Whitbread Memorial Award for Playoff MVP was awarded to Dan Berno, who led the way for the Kraken with 1g 2a, while goalie Lucas Hillert – who was later named Goalie of the Year – shut out the Bears. Congratulations to team captain James McLean and the Kraken!

Tailgators forward James Scott took home the Bill Whitbread Memorial Award for Playoff MVP, while The Matt Dowdle Memorial Award for exceptional performance, leadership, and dedication to the league was presented to Jody Spagnol of the Kraken. Congratulations to the rest of our award winners!

Join us this Saturday, March 29th, for the 2025 SNHL Night of Champions! The night kicks off with the SNHL All-Star game at 6pm, with next year's first-round draft pick on the line. And then at 7pm, the TailGators face off against the Kraken for the Callaghan Cup Championship. Following the games will be our end-of-year celebration, featuring a league BBQ and presentation of our Player Awards, and then our post-celebration at St. Louis Bar & Grill!
