Ask questions.
Who is teaching your children?
What is their background?
What is their history in martial arts?
Have they completed a Vulnerable Sector Check?
A martial arts instructor is not just teaching punches and kicks. They are mentoring, leading, influencing, and often spending hours each week with children and families.
Credentials matter.
Character matters.
Safety matters.
Do not be afraid to ask for proof of rank, lineage, coaching experience, first aid certification, insurance, or a current Vulnerable Sector Check.
Any legitimate instructor who truly cares about their students should have no problem providing that information.
Protect your family. Research before you register.
