Here's a fun "little" video about some of the differences between our barbells we have here at the gym that might be able to help you!
If you dont care about which barbell you grab because you're too strong for it to matter than you can disregard everything mentioned in this video!
Standard Barbell: Nothing special worth noting other than its good ole reliable
Olympic Style Barbell: Okay I get it, this ain't no eleiko quality barbell but its ours and we like it! It doesnt have the centre knurling, and the sleeves and collar of the barbell spin alot nore for cleans and snatches.
Ohio Power Bar: This bad boy is the real deal with aggressive knurling aswell as the centre knurling with minimal spin on the sleeves. Perfect for benching and squating heavy weight with minimal bend.
35lbs Bar: We have a couple of these at our gym and they're great for beginners or people with smaller hands for certain exercises as the shaft is thinner.
Training Bar: This is another excellent choice for people just starting out, non-agressive knurling, light weight at only about 20lbs, but dont load this thing too heavy! It'll bend on yeah, really meant for teaching beginners or lighter loading for certain exercises.
