The Renata VanLoon-Palmateer Kindness Bursary, a poignant homage to the cherished memory of the late Renata VanLoon-Palmateer. Renata, a revered community advocate and esteemed former member of the Blenheim Soccer League, epitomized the essence of kindness and civic dedication.
This bursary stands as a beacon of remembrance and a testament to Renata's enduring legacy, designed to honor individuals within our community who exemplify exceptional commitment to nurturing kindness and effecting positive transformation. Recipients of this distinguished award embody an unwavering devotion to cultivating goodwill through active community engagement and impactful initiatives.
May the Renata VanLoon-Palmateer Kindness Bursary serve as a timeless tribute, inspiring future generations to embrace the profound impact of kindness and community service in honoring Renata's indelible spirit.
There will be four (4) applicants selected for a $250 bursary
Applicant Requirements:
1) Be seventeen (17) to twenty-five (25) years of age at the time of application.
2) Be enrolled full-time in a Canadian college, university, apprenticeship program, technical institute, or private college for September 2026;
3) Demonstrate commitment to their community through leadership and/or volunteer activities.
4) Have a primary address within the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. Applicants may be enrolled in school away from their primary home address.
5) Applications must be received by end of day on May 31st, 2026
