‼️POSTPONED - DUE TO WEATHER‼️
Unfortunately the 2026 Rafter 6S Backyard Invitational is POSTPONED! We got lucky with 5 years of perfect weather but with the recent rain and the projected forecast, our yard and arena are far too wet and won’t be dry enough by Saturday to move forward. We’re in the midst of making other plans and will let everyone know when a decision has been made. We’re considering waiting till Saturday October 3rd, and potentially doing it in an indoor Arena but we may have to postpone till next year and hope for better weather!
Sorry for the inconvenience! If the event is postponed till next year we will reach out to everyone who bought meal tickets and work on refunds.

The countdown has begun!

The rodeo and the dance is free to attend but dinner tickets need to be pre-purchased! They’re available to through the website, link in our bio or google “Rafter 6S Backyard Invitational”

Go to “Evening Events” page -> “Buy Now”

Fill out the google form to reserve your tickets and pay by e-transfer! Make sure you get your meal tickets by September 4th so we can get an accurate count for the caterers.

Registrations open for the events! Youth events and ladies barrel racing is available to anyone who’d like to register. Team roping and cow doctoring are limited availability, please contact us if you’d like to enter those.

🚨ATTENTION YOUTH BREAKAWAY ROPERS🚨

With a lot of our youth contestants getting into Junior High and High School Rodeo, we’re trying to decide if we have enough interest in our youth breakaway to keep it as an event this year. (Youth barrel racing and pole bending will for sure be back this year)

Our event date is September 12th, 2026

We understand there are high school rodeos the same weekend so we want to make sure we’ll have enough girls before we order our buckle.
