Congratulations to all of you who have qualified through The Range to throw in Round 1 of the Wilson Cup happening next weekend!!!! We are thrilled, and wish you the best of luck in your qualifying throws 🙌🙌 You can throw at any participating IATF venue, and if you plan on throwing - don’t forget to register! Let’s Goooo!!!

IATC Round 1 is coming up soon, March 20-22 to be exact, and we’d love for you to come throw your qualifiers with us! Yes, we will be doing qualifying throws again this year. Our scheduled day for throwing is set to be Saturday, March 21, but of course we will work with you to find an alternate time that works for your schedule if required.

There is a link in our bio to a form to fill out to indicate if you are planning to come throw your qualifiers with us; we are just starting to pre plan our schedule :) You can throw at any IATF venue that’s hosting qualifying throws. If you are a Range qualifier and plan on throwing at another venue, please just let them know in advance so they can know to expect you.

The cats out of the bag!! We are proud to announce we are once again partnering up with our good friends at Warriors who’ve graciously added The Range as a host of one of their Showdown Series marathons! We will be on the road next weekend in Cobourg, ON bringing The Range spirit with us for Sundays marathon as part of their double marathon weekend! Yes - you will still get points for participating in this marathon! Bonus! There will be extra spots added to this one!

Tickets are going to go fast for this one - they will be going on sale Monday, January 12th at 5pm EST!!! Make sure you set your alarms friends! We’ve been told there could be birthday hats as we are also celebrating a certain Range persons birthday (unicorn attire encouraged!), but most of all we are so looking forward to seeing everyone from near and afar!

We will be doing our LIVE bracket draws Monday, August 25th! We will be going live at 6:00pm MST (if you have registered and received an email it said 6:00pm EST, which is incorrect sorry, it would be 8:00pm EST). Registration will close right before the draws.

Come join us for our fourth annual women’s Unicorn Classic, Premier double elimination tournament Saturday, August 30th. There will be an 0-2 tournament to follow!
$50 CAD
Also, our Labour Day Classic, Premier double elimination tournament Sunday, August 31st. There will be an 0-2 tournament to follow!
$81 CAD
We will be hosting 20 game Premier AND Standard marathons concurrently on Friday, August 29th! Cost will be $81 CAD CASH DAY OF and we will be capping both these marathons at 16 participants each!

This is a double Major IATF tournament circuit weekend! That means the winners from both tournaments will receive guaranteed Round 2 spots for next year’s IATC!!!

There is a very good possibility this could be our last Labour Day and Unicorn Classic held here at The Range, so if you’ve been on the fence about coming - this would be the time. Our lowered registration fees will hopefully be able to make this weekend experience as accessible as possible as we want everyone to come join us. Here we go friends. Registration for this years Labour Day and Unicorn Classic opens Monday at 9am!!!!! Registration will be through email as usual - we will post when registration begins!

We are very much behind on this one so we do apologize for the delay in getting this out. Life has been what it is this year, and in full transparency, there is a really good chance that this could be the last year these tournaments happen. That being said we wanted to take some extra time to plan and get it right as we want to make these events as accessible as possible for everyone who wants to come celebrate with us one last time. We are really scaling it back to do this, bringing it back to our roots - community. Nothing flashy, nothing fancy, just good people having good times and just being together and throwing axes. All tournament/marathon prices are in CAD. Prize pools will be dependent on the number of entrants.

The weekend will consist of Marathon Friday! We will host a premier and a standard marathon concurrently. There will be a cap of 16 people per marathon. Cost is $81.

Saturday will be our IATF Major, The Unicorn Classic. This double elimination Premier rules tournament is for women, including transgender women and anyone who identifies as a woman. It is also open to non-binary people who are comfortable in a women’s space. The winner of this tournament receives an automatic Round 2 spot into IATC 2026! Directly following this tournament will be an 0-2 tournament. Registration will be $50.

Sunday will be our IATF Major, The Labour Day Classic. This is an open double elimination Premier rules tournament. The Labour Day Classic winner will receive an automatic Round 2 spot into IATC 2026! Directly following this tournament there will be an 0-2 tournament. Registration will be $81.

With the drastically lowered registration fees, we will not be including shirts, swag or food this year. If there is enough expressed interest in t-shirts we may consider putting an order in. Our friends Chris and Troy - Backyard Catering Services - will be on site both Saturday and Sunday offering breakfast and lunch for sale. Details to follow. We can’t wait to see you all đŸ©·

We are less than 24 hours away from the Terry Ritz Memorial marathon and Never Have I Ever (premier 81 edition!) tournament we are hosting at in Lethbridge! We are two weeks away from our Terry Ritz Memorial (now a marathon league!) and Never Have I Ever (Premier 81 Edition - you can’t have thrown a Prem 81 to register!)! Come join us in Lethbridge at True North Axe Throwing for these events! Doors/registration/warmup is at 8:00am, matches start at 9am.
The TRM marathon registration is $100, the NHIE is $40 and will commence directly after the marathon league. We are going to have a special day and would love to see you all there 🎉
