Today’s the day come on out and help the number three late model and pack her car!

🏁💗 RACING FOR SCHOOL SUPPLIES — SEPTEMBER 5TH! 💗🏁

I’m so excited to finally share something that means a lot more to me than just another night at the racetrack.

On September 5th for Back to School Night at EIR, Candice Pahl Racing will be collecting donations in support of YESS — Youth Empowerment & Support Services.

YESS supports youth and young adults ages 15-21 who are going through difficult circumstances by helping connect them with basic needs, safe and supportive spaces, resources, and people they can turn to when they need it most.

I chose YESS for a very personal reason. ❤️

When I was 13, I was a youth struggling with depression after losing my sister and a very special friend 10 months apart. Even now as an adult, depression, anxiety and PTSD are still things I deal with. I was and am incredibly fortunate to have family support, counselling, and resources available to me during some of the hardest times in my life.

But I also know that not every youth or young adult has that same support system or access to those resources.

After everything the past year has brought into my own life, I knew I wanted to do something special for Back to School Night this year — something that could make even a small difference for young people who may be going through their own battles. 💗

So on September 5th, we’re asking everyone to help us PACK THE #3! 🏁

We’ll be collecting:
🎒 School supplies
🧴 Hygiene products
🧤 Cold-weather essentials
💵 Monetary donations(through e-transfer ONLY, I will post more info on this)

And because we want to make it a little fun too… everyone who contributes will be entered for a chance to win our raffle prizes! 🎟️ 🥳

We’ll have a MAIN PRIZE along with a second prize up for grabs, and I’ll be sharing more details about those prizes as we get closer to race day. 👀

Whether you bring one item, fill a backpack, or make a monetary donation, every contribution helps.

Sometimes something that seems small to us can mean everything to someone who needs it.

So let’s fill the grandstands, fill the #3, and show these youth just how much support our racing community can give. 💕🏁

Well the dust has settled from race night and it was a great night! We were able to have 2 of the Bushnell racing cars on the podium!! Mitchell finished 2nd and Garry was right behind him with 3rd place making that Garry’s first podium finish in his Thunder car!! We want to thank our sponsors and all the fans that came out with it being the pack the stands night!

Today’s the day! Pack the stands night and we successfully got rid of all of our tickets so thank you and we will see you in the stands! We will have a limited amount of goodie bags for the kids!

Well it finally happened! Mitchell podiumed for the second time this year, it only took most of the season and a 100 laps to do so but he did it!

4 years in a row finishing 2nd in the 100 lap feature race!

Mitchell qualified 5th, finished 2nd and Garry qualified 7th and finished 5th.

It was a tough fight but Mitchell managed to fight his way though, and reel in the leaders and caught the #5 Jonnie Peters Bar-LX Racing team at the finish line! We’re so happy to see Jonnie up there with us on the podium! Very proud of you!
