Well the race season is all done and wrapped up for both thunder cars. It wasn’t the ending of the season we were hoping for both cars but they both finished the season with a bang…. Garry caught the corner four wall with the back of his car and Mitchell was running third when his rear hub decided it wanted to be a launch pad for the rear of the car.
Both cars are fixable and will be ready to go next year with a long repair season this winter.

Congratulations to Kaylee Wilkie and the Wilkie Way Racing team for securing the Thunder car championship.
Mitchell finished 2nd in the championship and Garry finished 4th in a hard fought battle with Ty Bucklaschuk and Jonnie Peters in the championship.

With the season wrapping up we want to thank Ron & Loretta and all of their staff for what they do all season long to give us a place to race.

Of course we couldn’t do all this racing that we love to do without our amazing family and friends that help with fixing cars or helping get parts or just being there to cheer us on.

And lastly thank you to all our sponsors that helped us all year long. Your support makes it possible for us to go do what we love every weekend and help show our community the great companies that are out there.

🏁💗 RACING FOR SCHOOL SUPPLIES — SEPTEMBER 5TH! 💗🏁

I’m so excited to finally share something that means a lot more to me than just another night at the racetrack.

On September 5th for Back to School Night at EIR, Candice Pahl Racing will be collecting donations in support of YESS — Youth Empowerment & Support Services.

YESS supports youth and young adults ages 15-21 who are going through difficult circumstances by helping connect them with basic needs, safe and supportive spaces, resources, and people they can turn to when they need it most.

I chose YESS for a very personal reason. ❤️

When I was 13, I was a youth struggling with depression after losing my sister and a very special friend 10 months apart. Even now as an adult, depression, anxiety and PTSD are still things I deal with. I was and am incredibly fortunate to have family support, counselling, and resources available to me during some of the hardest times in my life.

But I also know that not every youth or young adult has that same support system or access to those resources.

After everything the past year has brought into my own life, I knew I wanted to do something special for Back to School Night this year — something that could make even a small difference for young people who may be going through their own battles. 💗

So on September 5th, we’re asking everyone to help us PACK THE #3! 🏁

We’ll be collecting:
🎒 School supplies
🧴 Hygiene products
🧤 Cold-weather essentials
💵 Monetary donations(through e-transfer ONLY, I will post more info on this)

And because we want to make it a little fun too… everyone who contributes will be entered for a chance to win our raffle prizes! 🎟️ 🥳

We’ll have a MAIN PRIZE along with a second prize up for grabs, and I’ll be sharing more details about those prizes as we get closer to race day. 👀

Whether you bring one item, fill a backpack, or make a monetary donation, every contribution helps.

Sometimes something that seems small to us can mean everything to someone who needs it.

So let’s fill the grandstands, fill the #3, and show these youth just how much support our racing community can give. 💕🏁
