Le SUP tour fait peau neuve en 2023 et offre des événements à travers le Québec sous différentes formes! Alors que tu sois en planche rigide ou gonflable de type overall, touring ou course… ou que tu désires venir essayer des planches, participer à des ateliers dans une ambiance de gros fun! Manque pas ta chance et réserve les dates sur ton calendrier! On se voit bientôt sur l’eau!!

DOWNWIND CHAMPIONSHIP
QUEBEC City

Race information:
12 km to 22km downwind race on the St Lawrence River.
OPEN to experienced SUP, Surf Ski and OC1 athletes.
Race date: October 15 or 16, 2022, depending on weather conditions. The conditions sought are winds of 10 to 28 knots and swells of 2 to 6 feet. We have established nine different routes around Île Orléans. Race date and route will be determined on the Thursday preceding the event in order to benefit from the best possible conditions,
Safety:
The Coast Guard Auxiliary will be present on the water.
Maximum: 25 SUP competitors; 25 Surf ski competitors; or a total of 50 competitors
The race will be held between the shore and the red buoys located 1 km offshore.
With October being the windiest month of the year, we reserve the right to change the course at the last minute.
Pre-race meeting will be held to provide race information and explanations of conditions.
Participants must:
• Be able to navigate in ocean conditions.
• Be able to maneuver in swells of 2 to 6 feet.
• Be autonomous for 25 km.
If the route is 22 km, there will be an option of 12km, in Saint-Jean-de-l'Île-Orléans.
