IMPORTANT NOTICE!
June 22-June 29 the KMCC will be undergoing flooring upgrades. During this time, the front and back doors will be inaccessible.

Berwick Fitness Centre members will need to use an alternate entrance.

Please enter using the far right sliding doors of the KMCC and follow the posted signs onto the walking track. You'll enter the BFC using our regular entrance.

Please note, the elevator will be inaccessible during this time.

This evening is our community’s celebration of sport, with the induction of a new class of athletes into the Town of Berwick Sports Hall of Fame.

This event also recognizes athletes whose recent achievements may one day earn them a place in the Hall of Fame.

This year’s induction ceremony honours:

1957 Central Kings Girls Volleyball
Andy Peters
Kevin Thompson
Lawrence Jerome Toney, posthumously
Katelyn Morton

Special recognition will also be paid to Cleo d’Eon.

The event will be held at the Berwick and District Lions Hall. Doors open at 6 PM, with the ceremony beginning at 7 PM. Light refreshments will follow.

Free will donations will be accepted at the door.

All are welcome to attend.

The ceremony will also be livestreamed on the Town of Berwick page, beginning at 6:50 PM.

Cyrus is definitely not a new face in the gym, but he is a new smile behind our front desk.
He has been with us now for a couple of months but we have been lucky enough to watch him grow over the last couple of years while he attended Central Kings High School.

Cyrus will be continuing his education at Acadia University this Fall, where he will be studying Engineering. We are excited to watch his future unfold!

The next time you come into the BFC, stop and take a look at the newest display in the Sports Hall of Fame cabinet featuring Cleo D’Eon. An incredible athlete, BFC member, and the oldest active curler in the province!

At 96 years young, Cleo continues to inspire everyone around him with his passion, dedication, and love of life. His story is a remarkable example of active living!

The display showcases photos, awards, memorabilia, and highlights from a lifetime of achievements that have left a lasting impact on our community and the sport he loves

Be sure to stop by and visit this special tribute to a true local legend.
