Happy holidays from all of us over here at Shane's black water. We will be resuming the sales of our original Blackwater 3 blade lake trolls this spring and will start assembling and shipping in feburary/March to make sure you will have them for your spring fishing trips. To our returning customer and followers, I want to start this off to say thank you for your support over the last several years, when we first started this company up I was in different career and our household was one less body, now 6 years later I am finding it hard to get back to what this company was started up on, and that’s fishing. I am writing this to let everyone know what we will not be offering sale of our products for this year as I need to take some time away to get out and spend some quality time with family and friends doing what we started this with, the passion for fishing. I will be devoting a good chuck of my time this spring/early summer with the study of our Nova Scotia Lake Trout and exploring all the bodies of water they are “said to be in” . I have been part of this project for the last couple years and I will say we have some great people working behind the scenes for this mysterious species of trout.We will still be here, keep following us as we will be doing more posts and videos on our techniques and success. I will be making a post in the coming weeks with some bulk bags of tackle available for purchase, to clean some remaining inventory out. Off season means looking through some Go Pro footage from this past summer, here is a sample of how we use the Blackwater medium (8") trout flasher with a large streamer fly to hook into summer Lakers at 40 feet while using our small boat ,home made downrigger, using a 3lb weight. We we plan to have 3 or 4 different patterns on the black schemed medium flasher availbe to purchase for spring on 2021.
