So pumped to get away with my main squeeze and some of our favourite humans for a few days!
Spent the day exploring a little town Wellington,Ontario.
Checked into our incredible airbnb(peep my stories for a tour!), and about to head out to get some dinner!
After a cancelled vacay back in March, this little getaway was much needed for the soul and my cup is already so full!!(of wine 😆🤣)

We made it!
This past week felt busy!! And if you know me, I hate being busy!!
I did try to tackle it with a positive attitude for the most part(I also have my period so you can only control so much here😉) because I knew once the weekend hit the boys would be off and it’s a “do whatever we feel like doing” girls weekend!
My life used to be made up of busy weeks like this with no light at the end of the tunnel and that just wasn’t working for me. So I changed it. It took time, and it took rewiring my brain from thinking that hair was all I was capable of doing to help support my fam.
I’ve always been multi-passionate so being able to do a bit of everything I love has been such a huge blessing and such a good balance for me! Some busy days paired with a whole lot of working my little businesses around enjoying my life.
My encouragement to you today is if you are feeling stuck in your job or if your life feels like a hamster wheel, know that it doesn’t have to be that way. Your best life is waiting for you on the other side of that scary thing you know you need to/want to do. 🤍

First day for all 3!
Grade 5 for Harrison and grade 4 for Eloise, day 3 of grade 1 for Amorie. How are they getting so old?!
When I was snapping these shots this morning I felt so proud of them for the love they have for each other. As much as they were annoyed that mom was taking the “first day of school” pics, they didn’t hesitate to hug/tickle/smile/laugh with each other. What more could a mother ask for? (They do still fight,yes. Still normal kids 😝)
I could care less if they become doctors or astronauts, hairdressers or Construction workers. All I pray is that they love God, love others and find a life they are truly happy in!
Here we go 2020/2021, can we make it through a full school year this time? Let’s try!

Grade 1 here she comes!
What a roller coaster of emotions it has been! Am I right mamas?!
But seeing how excited this girl was heading off to her first day of school made me feel really good about our decision to send her after we had initially opted for virtual learning.
Praying she has a great day, I know the teachers and staff will do their best to make it a great experience for all🙌🏻.
I feel truly thankful and blessed for our incredible small community here🤍

The best thing I did was decide to take care of myself.⁣

My kid’s needed a happy mom.⁣
⁣
Focusing on our mental and physical health is a necessity. It’s important that we put our oxygen mask on first. So often as moms we think it’s selfish to spend time feeling good about ourselves, but I’m here to tell you that the mom I am today is so much better than the mom I was 3 years ago. ⁣
⁣
I’m here to tell you that it’s not wrong to want to take care of yourself, it’s essential. Your babies need you to fight for YOU, so you can be the best for them. 🤍⁣
⁣
So please stop the guilt, stop the excuses, and start taking action. Move your body daily, fill your mind with positivity, surround yourself with good humans that build you up and don’t drag you down. ⁣
⁣
You deserve it 🤍
