🔥2026 BOB’S BLOG — WOW… WHAT A SUMMER! 🔥

Where did the summer go?

It feels like just yesterday we were welcoming our campers for their first day — some excited, some a little nervous, and some already wondering what kind of trouble… I mean ADVENTURE… we had planned for them. 😄

And what a summer it became!

We climbed higher. We biked farther. We swam, explored, played games, learned new skills and probably laughed more times than anyone could count.

There were new friendships made between kids who had never met before. There were campers who tried something for the very first time and discovered, “Hey… I CAN do this!”

There were scraped knees, wet shoes, big smiles, tired legs, crazy games, victories, challenges and plenty of stories to take home.

But somewhere between all those adventures, something even better happened.

We made memories.

The kind of memories that aren't about winning a game or reaching the top of the wall. They're about the friends standing beside you, the laughter you shared and that feeling of being part of the camp crew.

To all of our campers — THANK YOU for an incredible summer.

You brought the energy.
You brought the laughter.
You brought the adventure.

And you gave us a summer we won't soon forget.

New friends. New skills. New confidence. And a whole bunch of GREAT memories.

Do you love being outdoors, staying active, and making a difference in a child's summer? Then we want to hear from you!

Belleville Adventure Camp / Canadian Extreme Sports is looking for enthusiastic Camp Counselors to join our summer team.

🗓 Monday to Friday
🕗 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

We're looking for someone who:
✅ Has a positive, energetic attitude
✅ Loves working with children
✅ Enjoys the outdoors and being active
✅ Is comfortable riding a bike with campers
✅ Can lead games, adventures, and activities
✅ Is reliable, responsible, and a great team player

Every day is different! You'll spend your summer exploring parks, leading games, biking, hiking, swimming, climbing, and helping campers build confidence while making lifelong memories.

If sitting behind a desk isn't for you, this could be the perfect summer job!

☀️🌊 Heat Wave? We Had It Covered! 💦😎

When the temperatures soared this week, our campers knew exactly how to stay cool... head for the water!

From swimming and splashing to racing down the floating slide, every minute was packed with laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories. There were cannonballs, water games, friendly races, and lots of smiles—all while beating the summer heat!

At Canadian Extreme Sports, we believe the best summer memories are made outdoors, with great friends and plenty of adventure.

🌿 What Kids Today Really Need (And Why It Matters More Than Ever)

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how different childhood looks today compared to when many of us were growing up.

Remember spending whole days outside?
Figuring things out on your own?
Getting a little scraped up… and being totally fine?

We didn’t always have someone stepping in to fix things.
We had to try… fail… adjust… and try again.

And somehow, that’s how we built confidence.

Today, kids are just as amazing—but their world is different.

They often have fewer chances to:
✔ take safe risks
✔ solve problems on their own
✔ push through something that feels hard

And those moments? They matter more than we think.

At camp, I see it every single week.

A child starts off unsure… maybe even a little scared.
They look for reassurance.

But then they try.

They climb a little higher.
They keep going.
They realize: “I can do this.”

And by the end of the day?

They’re standing taller, smiling bigger, and believing in themselves in a whole new way.

Confidence doesn’t come from being told “you’ve got this.”

It comes from:
✨ trying
✨ struggling
✨ figuring it out
✨ and doing it anyway

That’s why we believe so strongly in giving kids real experiences.

Not just activities…
But opportunities to grow.
