The Beiseker Arena has been serving the village for nearly 43 years! The original Arena Society was formed in November 1972 and construction began in 1974. The building initially cost about $190,000 - over $900,000 in today's dollars - and was raised in large part by our community through donations, auctions and a skate-a-thon! It was first used in November, 1974 and was officially opened on December 8, 1974.

The village recreation coordinator has some great public skating events at the Arena, starting this month. There's Public Shinny Hockey, Public Skating and Public Stroll and Skate going on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays each week! Check our page's event listings for times & dates.
