We’re sad that our games are cancelled. But so very happy to still be able to gather as a team and continue some on ice practices and scrimmages.
Good morning everyone,
Following the announcement from NS Public Health yesterday afternoon, we now have additional details and guidance from Hockey Nova Scotia to share (below). In addition, late last night it was decided that ALL REMAINING HNS Playoff and Championship GAMES have been cancelled for our leagues for the season.
There is no doubt that this news is both disappointing, frustrating and not the “IDEAL”, but all is not lost. At this point, still have a tremendous opportunity in the ability to get on the ice for intra-team development, games and fun!!! As an organization and MWF community, we continue to look to our coaches, parents and volunteers to work within these new guidelines to continue to offer safe and vital social and physical activity for our girls.
We are working with our HRM and HNS partners to answer questions we have to understand all available options. We will provide updates to you in the coming days. In the meantime, feel free to contact your coach, board members or me directly ([email protected]) if you have any questions.
