ITP and Teen Program classes are in full swing! We are loving your back to dance pics everyone, keep em coming!

Not only that, Junior, Inter, and Senior Elite have just had their first company rehearsals on Sunday! Take a peek at T afternoon rehearsal with Senior Elite! We can’t wait to see what’s in store… 👀

HOT OF THE PRESS 🗞️

And just like that, our fall season is in SESSION! Take a look on everything the dancers at MDA have been up to this week!

First up, our Senior Lyrical Extended Line is finished! In just two rehearsals, these dancers have managed to wow us yet again, we are so pumped to see this piece hit the stage!

Next up, Children’s Program classes have officially begun! Don’t miss a chance for a photo-op in our entry way before you head to class.

Speaking of the first week of dance, have you entered our back to dance giveaway? We are giving away some class essentials alongside some MDA goodies! Do you want to head into the 2026-2027 dance season with your best technique yet? Have you ever wondered how we train our ITP dancers here at MDA?

Come join us for our 2026 Summer Intensive. The two week camp features classes by MDA’s award winning faculty along with 4 special guest instructors Donna Bender & Denise Vitali (Society of Classical Ballet Vaganova Method examiners), Tatyana Ranaivo and Sasha Powers. Classes include ballet, ground force technique, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, tap and jumps and turns.

We are pleased to once again offer eastern Canada’s most advanced and technically versatile summer experience to dancers from all studios. Dancers must currently be enrolled in an intensive training program, have at least 3 years ballet training and be 9 years of age or older.

Looking for an amazing competitive experience for the 2026-2027 season? Auditions are this upcoming Sunday May 31st, we can’t wait to see you there! See below for audition times and levels.

⭐️ P2 @ 1:00-2:00pm
⭐️P3, P4, Pre-Teen Levels @ 2:00-3:00pm
⭐️ ITP Levels 1-3 @ 3:00-4:00pm
⭐️ ITP Levels 4-5 & Teen Program @ 4:15-5:45pm
⭐️ ITP Levels 6 and up @ 5:45-7:15pm

Please note, the levels indicated below are the level/class the dancer is currently enrolled in. For those entering ITP 3 or higher in September, auditions for Intermediate and Junior Elite are combined with competitive auditions

All dancers are required to bring a headshot upon arrival, this is a small, clear picture of the dancer from the waist up and does not need to be on photo paper. Dancers can come dressed in regular dance class attire and bring their ballet shoes, jazz shoes and half shoes (half shoes are optional for the audition).

Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions about our elite and or competitive program or the audition process!

Here are our overall awards from our final competition of the year 🎉

Dancers, we are so proud of all you have accomplished this year, what a fantastic way to end off our season.

We are beyond grateful of the support from all our families and cannot wait to get started on the 2026-2027 dance year! Competitive auditions are Sunday May 31st, we can’t wait to see everyone show up and show out 🤩
