I know, who wants to travel to the US right now, but this time I’m helping to organize the 10th annual Broomstones Oktoberfest Open. We would love it if you could share our event with your membership again.

- 8-11th October 2026
- Registration Opens 10th July 2026 12 pm ET, closes 13th July at 6 pm ET, live lottery 16th July time @ TBD
- $540 rink fee
- 32 Teams, 3 game guarantee, 6 Broomstones team limit, event winner prizes
- Modified open - Must have one differing gender anywhere in the team lineup
- All meals included in rink fee, legendary Saturday banquet, plus endless hotdogs

- Complimentary 10th anniversary BOO pin for each curler
- Games with prizes, including opportunity to win guaranteed entry to 11th BOO (rink fee not waived)
- Furthest team registered and winning a lottery spot gets a free team pitcher of beer

Registration Info:

- Team registration limited to one TBD curler
- Broomstones team is considered Broomstones if 3 curlers are full time Broomstones members, regardless of club registered
- Teams who did not win lottery last year get an extra name in the hat (must have at least 3 members from prior team registration)
- 6 Teams who completed the 9th Annual murder mystery that were not picked out of the hat for guaranteed entry will have a second name in the hat (must have at least 3 members from prior team registration)
- Current champion team has guaranteed entry (must have at least 3 members from prior team registration)
- First draws will likely be Thursday 6:15 pm/ 8:30 pm, Friday 8 am/ 10:15 am. Last draw of the day will be 9:15 pm Friday/Saturday. Sunday finals 1pm. TBC.

C’est avec tristesse que nous apprenons le décès de M. Jean Charlebois, un grand bâtisseur du Club de Golf de Farnham.

Ancien président et membre du conseil d’administration, il a consacré au club de nombreuses années d’engagement et de dévouement. Son passage laissera une empreinte durable dans l’histoire de Farnham.

Nous adressons nos plus sincères condoléances à sa famille, à ses proches et à tous ceux qui ont eu le privilège de le côtoyer.

En plus de remporter la troisième place cette année, l’équipe Can-Am a également remporté le trophée Can-Am pour la deuxième année consécutive.

(Le trophée Can-Am est décerné à l’équipe la mieux classée et véritablement internationale (50/50) de la Ligue du vendredi soir)..
On top of winning third place this year, Team Can-Am has also won the Can-Am trophy for the second year in a row.

(The Can-Am trophy is awarded to the highest ranked, truly international (50/50) team in the Friday Night League)

Félicitations à l’équipe Icepack pour avoir remporté la première place dans la Ligue du vendredi soir. Lorsqu’ils ont commencé en octobre, ils étaient trois débutants et un skip. C’était un début difficile, mais regardez à quel point ils ont progressé au cours des derniers mois. Nous sommes tous impressionnés par vous.

Congratulations to Team Icepack for winning First Place in the Friday Night League. When they started in October, they were three newbies and a Skip. It was a rough start, but look how far they've progressed over the last few months. We are all impressed by you guys.
