There are many moments in life that are bittersweet. FSA has come to one of those moments....

This week we are saying goodbye to an individual that represents so many of the best aspects of FSA.

Nador Awanen has been with us for almost 10 years!!! The impact his presence and mentorship have made on players, parents and coaches is really immeasurable.

From coaching FSA programs and little ones, to directing and co-coaching senior programs like Showcase, to coaching the Hotspurs men's Premier team and Championship programs.... To being the coach for little 7-9 year olds early mornings at BMO for Storm soccer club. Nador has been an integral part of every aspect of FSA's growth and has always delivered a level of care and quality that surpasses expectations.

Nador it is every parent's dream to support their children and help them achieve their dreams. You came back to Canada and Nova Scotia because you remembered this community and the possibilities it provided you and you believed it could do the same for your children....We are so lucky you did. Because you helped so many young soccer players and lives while supporting your own, and we can never thank you enough.

We all love you very much and are very happy you get to return home and enjoy life. Please remember this small community at FSA and know you always have a second home here in NS with all of us.

With hearts full of happiness and honor we wish you and your family all the best and thank you for everything from the bottom of our hearts.
