They say it takes a village, but at Satin Slippers, it takes a truly extraordinary team of passionate, dedicated, and talented teachers to make the magic happen year after year! 🩰✨

As we look back on the incredible journey of this past season, our hearts are absolutely full. This year brought its share of unique challenges, but this amazing team didn't miss a beat. No matter what was thrown their way, they pivoted gracefully, adapted seamlessly, and kept their focus exactly where it belonged: on our dancers. Because of their resilience and unwavering support, our students didn't just get through the season—they truly excelled, thrived, and shone brighter than ever!

Behind every piece of choreography, every breakthrough in the studio, and every smiling dancer on that recital stage is a teacher who poured their time, energy, and heart into their students. From late-night rehearsals to backstage costume changes—and everything in between—these instructors show up every single day to inspire, encourage, and mentor.

Without their hard work, creativity, and endless dedication, we simply wouldn't have the amazing studio community that we do. 💖

To our phenomenal faculty: Thank you for your passion. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for making this season so unforgettable. We are so incredibly lucky to have you!

It's only taken me a year, and my brain is completely melted 😅, but I've officially sent my final assignments in to be graded 📑🤞

It was a great morning for a walk!!! Thanks to everyone who came helped and supported the Beaverlodge Rhythm Dance Society

A HUGE shoutout to our 29 volunteers that made it out this morning to clean up some roads and earn some more money to put towards our new floors and mirrors! It took less than 2 hours and we were all done 6.1 kms! Many hands made light work and good company! Again, THANK YOU to everyone that made it out!

🎨✨ Art Walk 2026 is almost here! ✨🎶

Join us on Mainstreet Beaverlodge on Friday, June 5 for a full day of art, music, food, and community celebration.

We’re excited to welcome our headliners Skylar Dayton & The Pistols and Six String Sergeant, plus daytime performances from the High School Band, Top of the Hill, and Tuesday Night Jazz Band.

Enjoy the Live Music Social Patio from 12 PM–2 AM, explore local artists, and soak in the best of Beaverlodge’s creative spirit.

Bring your friends, family, and lawn chairs — it’s going to be an unforgettable day downtown.

WOW! I am beyond impressed with the Beaverlodge Rhythm Dance Society , our dedicated parents, hardworking students and this amazing community ❤️

Look at the thermometer! They have almost hit their goal to provide the studio with brand new Dance floor and mirrors. Seeing this level of support after our 33rd season is just incredible 💃💃

Next up is the highway cleanup! If you want to help them cross that finish line, join the crew tomorrow:

This is absolutely incredible 😘❤️

WOW!!!!! What a weekend! All the dancers were amazing on stage! Way to go Satin Slippers Crew!

A huge thank you to everyone that came out to cheer on the dancers and support the society through buying candy, drinks, flowers, sweaters, hoodies, recital videos and bidding in the silent auction!

We raised $5,516.70!!! Crystal with Clark Creations donated $638 from all the sweaters and hoodies that were sold! And a Freezie fundraiser was hosted at the Beaverlodge Elementary School which brought in another $500!! So overall this past week we raised $6,654.70!!! Bringing our total up to an amazing $14,941.70!

Upcoming Opportunities to help out:

Roadside Cleanup May 16 at 9 am. We are meeting at the Dance Studio Parking lot to make teams and hand out maps! The county pays $200/km and our zone has 6.1 kms and with taking the garbage to the dump ourselves that adds another $100. So this opportunity should earn us $1,320!

Art Walk Cleanup June 6 @ 8am. We will be cleaning up tables, chairs, lights, a bit of garbage, and blockades and any other odd things they need to have handled. Last year we did this and it was only an hour with 10 volunteers (half of those were under the age of 13) and it earned us $500!

With what we have already raised and what is coming up...our total raised after the first week of June could be around $16,761.70! And that would leave us only $1,238.30 from our $18,000 goal!!!
