Canadian Power Toboggan Championships - CPTC CPTC is the world’s longest running snowmobile race located in Beauséjour, Manitoba, Canada. 🏁🇨🇦 on Friday
Hot laps start at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.

Four Legendary Tracks Unite for Five-Race, $100,000 Pro Champ 440 Championship Series! 🏁

Four of North America’s most iconic ice oval snowmobile racing venues have joined forces to launch a groundbreaking five-race Pro Champ 440 points series for the 2026–2027 season.

The unified championship will bring together the Wausau 525, Bonnechere Cup, Grand Prix Ski-Doo de Valcourt, alongside two events at the Canadian Power Toboggan Championships, to form one cohesive cross-border series showcasing the very best Pro Champ 440 racers in the sport.

The five-race championship schedule includes:
• December 12 & 13, 2026 – Canadian Power Toboggan Championships (Beausejour, MB)
• January 23 & 24, 2027 – Wausau 525 (Wausau, WI)
• February 5–7, 2027 – Bonnechere Cup (Eganville, ON)
• February 12–14, 2027 – Grand Prix Ski-Doo de Valcourt (Valcourt, QC)
• March 6 & 7, 2027 – Canadian Power Toboggan Championships (Beausejour, MB)

The series will feature a combined minimum purse of $100,000 USD across the four venues, instantly positioning it among the richest and most prestigious championships in the sport of ice oval snowmobile racing. The Pro Champ 440 class which is the premier division of the sport, will headline each round, ensuring fans experience elite-level competition from December through March.

By aligning their schedules and points structures, the four host tracks have created a unified championship platform that rewards consistency and performance across multiple historic venues. The cross-border format is expected to draw the strongest fields of racers from both Canada and the United States, intensifying rivalries and elevating competition at every stop.

This collaboration marks a significant step forward for ice oval racing. Each event carries decades of history and passionate fan support. Together, they now offer racers a clear championship pathway and fans a season-long storyline culminating with the final round in March.

Details regarding the official points system, championship payout breakdown, and series branding will be announced in the coming months.
