🏆 Diane Jaffray Award – 2025 Winner 🏆

Congratulations to James Lloyd, the recipient of the 2025 Diane Jaffray Most Outstanding Person Award.

This award is given each summer to the athlete who best represents the values our mom, Diane, believed in — hard work, determination, and being a great teammate both on and off the ice.

This recognition isn’t about being the best hockey player, but about the athlete who shows the best character, work ethic, and attitude throughout the week.

One of our Edge staff members shared this about James:

"James is a perfect representation of what an Edge athlete is like. He loves the sport, is respectful to his teammates and coaches and he always works his hardest. It was so nice for the staff to see James walk in the rink every morning with a smile on his face ready to have fun and work hard! He was a pleasure to have at our Strathmore camp and we are looking forward to seeing him again next summer!"

🏆 Fourth Annual Diane Jaffray Most Outstanding Person Award 🏆

We created this award in loving memory of our mom, Diane Jaffray, who passed away suddenly several years ago. She was always our biggest supporter and the one who taught us the true meaning of hard work, kindness, and being an incredible teammate.

Each summer, our Edge Hockey Schools staff chooses one athlete from the entire camp season who truly represents the values Diane instilled in us. This recognition goes beyond skill — it honours the work ethic and character shown on and off the ice.

The recipient will receive a FREE registration to any 2026 Edge Hockey School!
