Did you hear the news?! It's true - we are expanding in the Fall! This exciting expansion will allow us to grow into a multi-level exercise studio and holistic wellness centre with treatment rooms for practitioners (myself included)!

Did you know that crunches, planks, and leg lifts are NOT core exercises? It's true! Those are abdominal exercises that target primarily the upper abdominal layers (while often over-activating the hip flexors) that produce movement, and not spinal stability.

To activate your deep abdominals - along with the other muscle groups that stabilize the spine and pelvis - you need to create an element of instability with progressive loading and functional resisted movements. How is this done? Well ...come to one of our core class options and find out 😉
