Our Academy may remain closed for now, but we are still running an online training schedule with classes being offered Monday through Saturday. Classes have been going so well that we are going to be adding more adult and kids classes to our schedule!

Had the opportunity to do some online training with arguably, one of the best bjj practitioners of all time, the one and only super grand slam champion, ! Thank you for a great training. It is amazing how accessible the top players of the game are, and how happy they are to be offering a platform for us to continue to develop our skills. We are extremely grateful for a supportive community.

🚨🚨🚨 CLASSES LIVE ONLINE!!! 🚨🚨🚨

Hey guys!!! We're excited to announce that beginning tomorrow April 1st, we will have a full schedule up and running for both KIDS AND ADULTS!!! Classes will be taught live, via the Zoom App.

NEW ONLINE CLASS SCHEDULE:

Monday:
10:30-11:00am - Fitness and Conditioning
6:00-7:00pm - Kinstretch

Tuesday:
10:30-11:00am - Kids BJJ Fit
7:00-7:30pm - Adult BJJ

Wednesday:
10:30am-11:00am - Fitness and Conditioning
6:00-7:00pm - Kinstretch

Thursday:
10:30-11:00am - Kids BJJ Fit
7:00-7:30pm - Adult BJJ

Friday:
10:30-11:00am - Fitness and Conditioning

Saturday:

Here is a quick little breakdown of what these classes will be like:

Fitness and Conditioning:
Class is approximately 30 minutes long broken down into 2 rounds. We go through 15 movements or "exercises" for 45 seconds, each one followed by a 10 second rest. After the first round of 15 you get a 2 minute break, and then we repeat the process a second time. You DO NOT need any equipment, just your body and a small amount of space in your home. And you can get your kids to do it with you if you want!!!

Kinstretch: A movement enhancement system that assists in providing better joint mobility and strength through useable ranges of motion.

Kids BJJ Fit: A 30 minute class run in a circuit style manner for kids!!! This class is run similar to our fitness and conditioning class. 15 Brazilian JiuJitsu specific movements are chosen and performed for 30 seconds, each movement followed by a 10 second rest. Upon completion of the first round of 15 we take a 2 minute rest and then we repeat the entire sequence for a second round.

Adult BJJ: A 30 minute class of BJJ drills that can be done at home with no partner. Classes have been prepared into 4 modules. Each module has a specific focus. With each module we will explore various drills that are specific to the following facets of bjj:
Module 1: Distance Management
Module 2: Guard Retention
Module 3: Bottom Game Mobility
Module 4: Top Game Mobility

We understand that this is not the ideal way to train BJJ and that all the aforementioned classes are a supplement only to actually training bjj with a live, resisting opponent. However due to the current situation of the world we want to do our best to continue to provide you some value. This is what i know. This is how i can service my community in this crazy time. I can not wait to open the doors and have you all back inside the academy. In the meantime let's stay positive, optimistic, and in good shape ready to return when we can.
