🌿 TAKE ME OUTSIDE WEEK! 🌲☀️

Some of the best lessons happen outside the classroom. 💚

This week, we’re celebrating by looking back at some of our favourite moments from the 2026 season at Wilderness Tours!

From conquering rapids and exploring forest trails to building friendships, overcoming challenges, and discovering new passions, we’ve watched thousands of young adventurers learn, grow, and thrive in the great outdoors.

At Wilderness Tours, we believe outdoor education is about so much more than adventure. It’s about building confidence, developing leadership skills, connecting with nature, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Here’s to the teachers, educators, and group leaders who make these experiences possible, and to all the incredible kids who remind us why getting outside matters! 🙌

Less screen time. More adventure. More connection. More kids outside. 🌎

📸 A few of our favourite moments from this season!

Outdoor Education is a big part of autumn 🍂 at Wilderness Tours | 50 Years Sharing the Magic of Whitewater ™ - Our 1st year Algonquin College Outdoor Adventure students start their school year with Whitewater Rafting, Swift water Rescue and Whitewater Kayaking. They recently completed a week-long rafting expedition on the Ottawa, Gatineau, Rouge and Jacque-Cartier rivers.

The hard skills of these outdoor pursuits are the obvious take-away. But, the soft skills like communication, leadership, team cohesion and confidence are the enduring benefits that change lives far beyond the river.
