Life on the river 😎

Our backyard 🥹
Sometimes I find myself noticing how wrapped up in the day to day I am. This was one of those notable moments. Rushing around between the garden, kitchen, laundry and chickens I decided to run down to the river and snap a quick picture of Sam and Brent as they headed out to work on rolling (they are the tiny dark spots in the middle left of the shot) and I put the camera down and kept looking out and actually felt tension release from my body. I felt the big slow breath and the let go. And I felt a little lighter ☺️
And then I went back to work, but those 2-3 minutes of stillness and appreciation pivoted my energy and perspective leading me to a more peaceful workload, even though it was the same workload ❤️
