A note from Stefan Thedorf ..... I’m excited to join Loyalist Country Club as the new Manager of Golf Operations. I have been a PGA of Canada Associate Professional since 2024 and bring more than 15 years of golf-industry experience to the role. Throughout my career, I have worked as a club fitter, retail manager, and caddie on the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour. I also currently serve as the General Manager of Celtic Golf Centre in Kingston.
Before returning to the golf industry full-time, I spent eight years at Shopify in various senior management roles in Customer Support, Customer Experience, and Human Resources Operations. That experience strengthened my passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, building lasting relationships, and earning customer loyalty. I look forward to bringing that same approach to Loyalist and helping ensure every member and guest has an outstanding experience whenever they visit the course and club.
As a golf instructor, my goal extends beyond simply improving your swing. I want to help you improve your overall game, better understand how to play and manage the golf course, and ultimately find greater enjoyment in golf. I’m excited to meet everyone and become part of the Loyalist community. Please feel free to stop by the Pro Shop during the week to introduce yourself, or come say hello if you see me out on the practice range!
