Greetings Thunderhoops family!

We hope everyone is staying safe, and adjusting to the ever changing new normal.

As you may be aware, the Provincial Government has announced the closure of overnight camps in Ontario for the summer of 2020. Day camps will have to follow a strict protocol that includes physical distancing. Due to the nature of basketball, it would be impossible to keep campers apart and safe.

To ensure the safety of our campers, coaches and support staff, Thunderhoops Basketball Camp will be cancelled for this year. This would have been our 27th summer running Thunderhoops, and we will miss seeing your smiling faces.

We encourage you to keep working on your game. Don't let your skills fade, now is the time you can separate yourself from the pack. Work hard, everyday.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking steps to ensure that campers and parents have enough time to plan their summer activities. If cannot take place in 2020, campers will be reimbursed.

So register for camp now, and pay once we have the green light from the city to continue ballin' 💪

Shout out to Jim Zoet, one of our guest speakers who has supported since day one! Jim is a former Detroit Pistons NBA player, and he was inducted into the Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame in '15. Jim teaches the campers that you have to play big, no matter how small you may be 💪
