Owned and operated by Dave Davison, Barrie Scuba House is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Dive Centre. Dave has over 35 years of diving experience and has ach

ieved the level of Master Instructor as well as a Tec Trimix Instructor, Tec Sidemount Instructor and CCR Instructor. Dave achieved PADI's Elite Instructor status for the past 3 years - #1 in Canada! His personal best depth reached is 505ft on open circuit backmount doubles and 305ft on his Hollis Prism 2. Barrie Scuba House offers a wide variety of scuba courses with PADI from Learn to Dive courses (Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Rescue) to Specialty Courses (Nitrox, Drysuit, Deep, Navigation, Search & Recovery, First Aid/CPR), Tec 40/45/50/65/100, CCR 40/60/100 and Professional Level courses (Divemaster, Instructor). Courses are offered year round in our on-site heated salt water training facility. Barrie Scuba House is Ontario's only authorized Hollis Rebreather Training Facility!

We’re Hiring!

Barrie Scuba House is looking for a full-time Service Bay & Tank Technician to join our team.

This is a hands-on role working in our tank and equipment service area, including tank fills, visual inspections, hydrostatic testing and scuba equipment servicing.

Experience with scuba equipment, mechanical or technical work, cylinder inspection or equipment servicing is an asset, but training will be provided for the right person.

🔹 Full-time, approximately 40 hours/week
🔹 Some Saturday/weekend availability required
🔹 Must be able to safely lift, carry and manage equipment up to 50 lbs
🔹 Wage based on experience
🔹 Barrie, Ontario

Congratulations to Tyler Knight on completing the PADI Tec 45 TMX o.c. in sidemount. Lots of skill building and time spent underwater this past few weeks. Onward to Tec 50 TMX.
