A rare Sunday hole change to give golfers a new look this last long weekend of the summer. The challenge holes are 2 3 5 on Klondike and Frontier.

Tee times are still available for today and Monday. Same day bookings and after 1pm bookings do not require prepayment. Call the Pro Shop at 705 721 1922 to secure your time now!

Happy Thursday from SBGC!

The course is in fabulous shape right now. Everything is super green and trimmed to look perfect. We are on the verge of our last summer long weekend. Please make your plans to golf with us and book your tee time at www.shantybaygolf.com or call the Pro Shop at 705 721 1922. We have some course updates to share plus a sale in the Pro Shop - see below.

TEE MARKER PLATES: Fully installed on every White and Orange tee location on the course. Inspired by our local neighbor Braestone (thanks Kyle) as they have their own version. Special thanks to Mike Turney at SignzNDesignz for providing these. They look great!

COURSE MARSHAL CART: We improved our on- course visibility to support Golfers. Look at us go!!! Thanks again Mike for producing the sign.

PRO SHOP LONG WEEKEND SALE: New polos, jackets, hoodies, and hats arrived today. More Artist golf towels too!!! Check out the pictures! These items 15% off the first item, buy two or more get 25% off everything. Sale is on now and goes to Tuesday close.

10AM UPDATE FROM SBGC!!!

The golf course and practice areas will be closed for the balance of the day due to the excess water and swollen creeks. F6 bridge is impassable. Campbell Creek on Rangeland is overflowing. The weather outlook is not ideal as well by mid-afternoon through early evening.

We are anticipating being fully open Thursday morning at 730am....Pro Shop open by 700am.

Due to extreme rain early this morning, the course and driving range will be CLOSED until 12 noon. We will reassess at 10am and send out another message.

2026 Club Championship trophies have been updated. The individual plaques are also available for the winners to pick up at their convenience. Big thanks to Mike Turney and his team at SignzNDesignz for producing these. They look terrific!!!

Doug is up this Friday at 500pm to entertain the crowd on the patio. Thanks Doug!

Not so happy Sunday from SBGC! We just closed the course due to the rain and outlook. The rainbow 🌈 is that we will stay GREEN forever!!! Hope to see you tomorrow if the overnight weather permits. Be good!
