I’ve been looking through these photos from Amy’s journey and honestly, what stands out to me isn’t the weight she’s lost or the physical changes.
It’s her smile!
started training with me in person in esrly 2025 and right from the beginning she was someone I looked forward to seeing each week. Like a lot of people, she wanted to get stronger, feel healthier, build confidence, and finally find some consistency with exercise. She wasn’t looking for a quick fix. She just wanted to feel better and create habits she could stick with.
Since then, she’s done exactly that.
What makes her story especially cool is that she moved all the way to Halifax and we’re still working together. Even after moving across the country, she kept showing up, kept putting in the work, and kept making herself a priority.
When she came back to visit for her birthday this week, it was really nice to see her in person again and look back at how far she’s come ❤️ appreciate you taking the time out of your visit to come by.
The photos tell part of the story, but they don’t tell all of it.
They don’t show the workouts she completed when she didn’t feel like it. They don’t show the days she chose to keep going instead of starting over. They don’t show the confidence she’s built, the knowledge she’s gained, or the fact that she genuinely enjoys going to the gym now.
One of my favourite things about this job is watching people realize they’re capable of more than they thought they were.
That’s exactly what I see when I look at these photos.
Not just a before and after.
A stronger, more confident version of someone who decided she was worth showing up for.
I’m incredibly proud of you, Amy and you should be proud of yourself too ❤️
Thank you for trusting me, for continuing to work with me after moving to Halifax, and for being such a wonderful person to coach.
And thank you for introducing me to another awesome Amy too 😊
