Plank with Purpose | Building Shoulder & Back Integration on the Reformer

Build, refine, and elevate your plank practice on the Reformer in this focused workshop designed to deepen strength, alignment, and full-body integration. Together, we’ll begin by activating key supporting muscles and progress by breaking down Classical Pilates plank-based repertoire, including the Knee Stretch Series, Up Stretch Series, Long Stretch, Elephant, and Control Balance Front, helping you move with greater precision, stability, and confidence.
You’ll learn how proper shoulder organization and back-body engagement create the foundation for stronger, more supported movement. Through progressive exercises and intelligent layering, we’ll develop endurance, control, and dynamic stability while exploring intermediate to advanced variations.
What to Expect:
30 Minutes Mat Pilates + 60 minutes Reformer Pilates
• Understanding shoulder stability and scapular support
• Exploring the role of the posterior chain in core integration
• Strength-building progressions on the Mat & Reformer
• Advanced variations, transitions, and movement flow
• Techniques to improve endurance, control, and confidence in weight-bearing exercises
Who It’s For:
Clients with a consistent Pilates practice who are comfortable with intermediate Reformer work and looking to level up and advanced their practice. Please note, this workshop is not suitable for acute injuries, pre/postnatal, or significant movement limitations, specifically shoulder and/or wrist limitations.
