Chestnut AQHA
This filly is thick!! Her mom is 16.3H and I think this filly should finish close to that. I've been waiting for her to decide what color she wanted to be and it looks like she is going to be a dark chestnut. I still think she has some white on her feet, but she's in no rush to shed out her legs, so her papers are going to have to wait.

Maizie is finally getting some outside time to roll and kick up her heels a bit. Spring has been cold, rainy and snowy here but things are finally starting to dry up. She has really come into herself this winter and just keeps getting bigger.

GUNNAR was born 16 days early but that isn't slowing him down any. He is a bay with one hind pastern and a star and snip. Due to the poor weather that just won't quit this little firecracker hasn't had much time outside, but did get to stretch his legs this morning.
GUNNAR will be registered both AQHA and APHA.

It's a BOY!!!!
GUNSLINGINANNIE gave me a very handsome baby boy this morning by IMA SAFE BET x VERY COOL.
He is a bay with a star and one white pastern.
All appears to be good, he is up, nursed and pooped and mom has cleaned. I'll keep an eye on him as he is a bit early but he has lots of s***k.

"Betty Boop" has been patiently hanging out with her mom waiting on her sister/brother to arrive later this month.
Born on April 13th, two major spring snowfalls kept this little girl living the good life indoors until things dried up and warmed up.
Definitely a quiet and kind filly and very in your pocket, so pictures are hard to get. Now we are just waiting for her to shed out those legs as she has 4 white socks/pasterns under that light colored hair somewhere.

Her dam is 16.3H and this is her second foal. Her first foal Sirtainly Credible x Sirtainly Sierra x Sir Cool Skip earned 8 points in her first show as a yearling last year going both Grand and Reserve.

2026 Filly out of ALL STAR TOUCHDOWN and by IMA SAFE BET (Multiple World Champion/Congress Champion) by VERY COOL.
Belle foaled another very large filly this morning at 1100am. All is good and foal has nursed, pooped and mare cleaned all like clock work.
Looks like she has white socks all the way around and lots of white on her face like her mom.
Not totally convince that she will stay a sorrel as I think she might be a palomino by the look around her eyes and muzzle. Time will tell. Here are a few cell phone pictures from this morning.

AQHA 2025 High Point Champion list has just been published and what an honour it has been. Many long hours were logged at home and at shows, as well as too many miles to count across 3 provinces with 3 mares, but it was all worthwhile. The best part is always making new friends along the way.

PREMOS SPECIAL GRACE was fit and shown in the Open Aged mares by Scott MacKenzie Show Horses this year, hitting shows in all 3 provinces. Maizie earned both her Open and Amateur ROM's as well as numerous AQHA Year End High Points as listed in the photo below.

SENSATIONAL FINANCIN stayed home and was fit here with the goal of finishing off her Open Superior and teaching the yearling the ropes of being a show horse/travel partner. M finished her Superior in September and won numerous AQHA Year End High Points as listed in the photo below.

SIRTAINLY CREDIBLE made her debut in the show pen and handled everything that was thrown at her. Brinleigh was a special filly to show as she was the only foal by SIRTAINLY SIERRA that I was able to show prior to his passing. She has also won numerous AQHA Year End High Points as listed in the photo below.

Thank you once again to Scott MacKenzie Show Horses, everyone that helped out holding horses in the hitching pen, those that led back in for Grand and Reserve and the Judges. Showing 3 mares (2 in the same class) was a challenge, but we made it work. (should have bought a fit bit to log my miles...lol)
